Well I don't recall any specific 'sayings', but My favorite episode was when Darla had a picnic set up for Alfalpha (is that how it's spelled?), and instead of eatting cheese he ate a bar of soap and sang bubbles to her..

It's because of that episode that I purchased a picnic basket!

P.S. How do you remember specific dialogue? Is there a video/dvd/or download available of 'The Rascals'? Didn't Bill Cosby or Micheal J. purchase the rights to them?

Urban legend. The rumor was that Cosby found them to be racist, so he bought them all up and locked the shows away. But both the "Rascals" and "Our Gang" shorts are around on DVD and video, and they're on one of my local stations at like 5 or 6 in the morning...
