I don't give a flying flandango if anyone replies to this, but FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY my Jets are beating the holy christmas out of the Chargers right now!
Santana - not just a great musician, also one hell of a punt returner. Pennington - doing very well, not as good as a Bennington, but doing very well nonetheless. Martin - sucks as a comedian right now, but man what a great touchdown run.
WOW how about that interception before the half!
LOL! Killing the Chargers!
31-7 at the half
(i'm taking what i can get this season)

But as a Jet fan since day 1, just remember they still are the Jets and no lead is safe at any time. I wouldn't feel safe with this lead even with 2 minutes left in the 4th quarter. Hackett must GO!!!!!

If they start that prevent defense again...I see 2-6. We'll see!!!!

Nice win for Gang Green!

I'm also a long time suffering JETS fan... (since I was about 8 years old)

WOW! That makes this season 30 years of watching the JETS and living with the disappointment year after year after year....

WOW, congrats Jets fans. That was unbelievable.

The Cincy win was cool too. Largest margin of victory in 10 years. Nobody saw that coming but you had to figure they were due this week.

To anybody who had the strength to pick the Jets again this week in the pool - R-E-S-P-E-C-T.

I guess the gang green don't S-U-C-K, this week anyway. Too bad the Bills couldn't pull it off, then it would have been a perfect week.

You never know Jet fans, as long as the Jets stay true to this performance: Miami at home...they'll get the win with the momentum from the Chargers win, and the Jet/Miami rivalry being at home (Jets 4-5-0) At Detroit...they suck, Jets win. Could be hard tho', Detroit seems to like their home advantage (Jets 5-5-0) Buffalo at home...Home win, fans excited, team pumped up (Jets 6-5-0) At Oakland...Oakland sucks, Jets win...this Chargers win can really be a god send at this away game (Jets 7-5-0) Denver at home...Denver, rough. Possible win at home...My Jet fan side says they can win, my practical side says they will lose bad (Jets 7-6-0) At Chicago...Chicago sucks, Jets win (Jets 8-6-0) At New England...Jets can very well win this convincingly, so long as they get the above wins, it can separate them from feeling mediocre (Jets 9-6-0) Green Bay at home...all depends on how bad the Jets want it...but like the Broncos, Jet fan says win/practicality says loss (9-7-0) Sure it's a long shot, only two losses. I have Buffalo ending up with an 8-8 record. Miami is a bitch. They play a lot of sucky teams, they may end up with a 10-6 record losing to GreenBay, Jets, SanDiego, and last game at New England. If Buffalo can beat them in Buffalo and the Jets turn it around we could have a 3 way tie at 9-7 with the Jets winning the tie breakers. Only in a perfect world, eh?

Honestly, this win only makes last weeks fucked up loss hurt worse. They remind me of the dog-ass Mets they only win games when wins no longer matter.

I'm not happy just yet, i know how the jets are they always break my heart:(

I told everyone that i know before the season started that Chad Pennington should have been the starter, i like Vinny but the guy has no damn legs to run with!

Jet Defense held Chargers to 73 yards rushing, 2 TD's and had a blocked extra point

Let's be honest here, L.T. averaged 5 yards per carry only to abandon the run due to the score. Martin's run was punctuated as he ran over SD's third string strong safety that couldn't start on my high school team. The weakest part of the Jets game was Martin (still doesn't look good). And the bye week has had a way of making teams play shitty (you would think otherwise, think Pats last week), especially if the first game back is after a big win (SD over Oak).
However, the Jets are a tougher team with Pennington, and should be 4 and 4 right now. The Jets did expose a true weak spot on the Charger team, the kicking game. Every kick, extra points included, are way too low. Christie's leg is too weak to get some height on the ball and get the distance he usually needs. So don't be fooled if the Chargers look brave for attempting so many fourth downs in long range field goal territory. They just don't have the leg. And don't counter with Richey, he can't keep a kick off straight enough to land in the field of play (yet his leg is powerful).

I have to say that the Jets remaining schedule is quite weak! That week #8 loss is going to hurt come the end of the year.

12-1 is impressive. Picking the Jets to beat the Chargers is REALLY impressive.

Pats, Jets and Titans ruined my perfect score. But that's nothing new.

Excuse me a second, but the idea of calling LaDanian Tomlinson "L.T." makes me sick.

Now, aside from that...

The Jets played a great game, Penny is really coming around to show the doubters that they forgot he was a first round draft pick that just got iced for 2 years, and the defense is stepping up.

There's a lot of work that needs to be done, but there's a lot of football left to be played.

Nice job Gang Green.

The Jets need to start getting Kevin Swayne some reps. The best receiver you've never heard of has seen no time this season.

He cant get the ball when there are 3 receiver's ahead of him plus a running back a fullback and a tighend, he just has to wait for him time to shine!

I have to agree here, hence I take it back. Tomlinson uses "his nose" for breathing! And it did make "LT" a bad person.
