View Full Version : Voting In Brooklyn: Welcome To The Third World!

I have always voted. Even years when there is nothing to decide but bond issues. I also enjoyed voting, I did feel a sense of civic pride and duty. However, it seems that the NYC Board Of Elections has gone insane.
As I walked into my polling place I saw huge posters of sample ballots on the wall..in Russian, Spanish, Cantonese and Mandarin! Nothing in ENGLISH! How the hell do people who can't read English vote? Making matters worse, the "information lady" barely spoke a word of English! It took me 5 minutes to figure out where I was going, after shouting "does anybody here speak English"?
I know there was something called "The Voting Rights Act" but this was a nightmare.
It's sick and getting sicker folks. I'm moving to Idaho to join a Militia!
Multiculturalism run amok.

I lived in Bay Ridge for 12 years and the last time I voted there I think I voted against a rickshaw initiative in Bejing. Seriously, I opened the curtain for the voting booth and there were barbequed ducks hanging upside down in there.

I voted at PS102 and I had to use a paper ballot. When I asked the old guy how if I should check the boxes or fill them in. He replied "eh, whatever you want."
Apparently the booth was broken cause they found out that the ducks hanging in the district 85 booth were "STILL LIVE!!!!, CHOP CHOP"

Whenever I go with my dad the ladys at the table seem like they were recruited from Florida. They are all sleeping while crapping themselves, while playing bingo by themselves.
