there are so many bands that i hate solely for their singer that it is hard to pick one, but after great thought, the one who always makes me run for the hills is:

I wonder, does 'music in a can' even count?

Like Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, all boy-bands from MKOTB to N*Sync, Spice Girls, LeeAnn Rimes ... what else is like chalk squeaking to me?

I think they deserve a separate trash-can. . .but, that's just one opinion.

Of course, what really makes my skin crawl is live tracks of bad performances where the singer/band are in different keys and they aren't supposed to be. . .ouch. It actually throws off my equilibrium.

Contrary to what you may beleive that guy actually did have a pretty manly voice back in the day. My theory is: His nuts fell off. Thats the only way he could've gone from how he did sing, to what he is singing now, and with his voice the band went downhill too.
