<font color=purple>In only a 1/2 hour of standing in front of Infinity's corporate offices yesterday (right in front of the MTV store), a co-worker and I were able to get another 100 signatures (even if some were from tourist) in the effort to keep Ron & Fez on the air and in NYC.
If you work in Manhattan, attend a crowded college campus or even hit a mall every now and then, and have a little down time, why not help to circulate the <b>"Save The Ron & Fez Show"</b> petition?
Not only will you be helping this specific cause, it allows for the opportunity to turn others onto the show. And who knows, maybe you'll even make a few new <i>friends</i> in the process ;)
Seriously, if you're interested, drop me a private message or IM me @ GaryWyze.
The clock is ticking, now is the time to make our voices heard!!!
And as always, keep writing those letters!!</font>

Cool Gary, just make sure you make a good impression. No drunken kids, no profanity. In fact, I suggest you dress like a Mormon. :)

<font color=purple>Some of you have responded, but clearly not enough. Folks, this has to happen!
We seem to have lots of energy here, but not nearly enough direction. Writing letters is important and still our best bet. It's obviously something that we need to keep doing (as well as tapping, almost urging, friends & family members to do likewise). But it's not gonna be enough.
In addition to Dan's suggestion for calling Infinity's voicemail, the sky-writing thing, etc., we need to more effectively mobilize ourselves. We need to get out there and make our voices heard. And we definitely need to be more concerted in all our efforts! In short, less talk and more action!!
A rally at this point - as in this very day - may be premature, but getting several thousand signatures on several different petitions, as well as handing out "Save The Ron & Fez Show" flyers and contact info on crowded street corners is something that can be done immediately and with very little effort.
It not only helps this cause specifically, but also in the big picture since you're out there spreading the word (read: advertising the show).
Again I ask, if you got some down time and access to anyplace where people congregate, step up and do this.
Because I'm gonna keep bringing this to the top and pestering you 'til you do ;)

I'm currently attending Briarcliffe College in Bethpage. I'm sure I can muster up a few hundred sigs out there. Is there an official form, or can I whip something up myself? <P>

<font color=purple>Hi, and a belated WELCOME ABOARD the forum!
You can create one using MS Word is the following fashion:
<center><b>Save The Ron & Fez Show</b></center>
We, the undersigned, urge the management of Infinity Broadcasting to keep the Ron & Fez radio show on the air and in New York City.
Name ...................... Address ................... Signature
I've been using 25 lines per page (and obviously no dots, but columns, on the actual petition).
Or if you prefer, I can scan it into a file and e-mail it to you.
Once you've obtained a couple of hundred signatures, send it off to:
John Sykes, CEO
Infinity Broadcasting
1515 Broadway
51st floor
New York NY 10036

Hi, and a belated WELCOME ABOARD the forum! <P> <P> Thanks for the welcome. As for the petition, I will have one going around school next week! As the eternal pessimist, I've never felt these efforts work too well, especially when corporate America is involved. Having said that, I've written three letters, and gotten others to also. I've donated to the FLYING BANNER campaign, and I urge everyone else to do so. See Effme's post on the General Discussion for more info. I will now get the petitions rolling. We gotta keep the boys in NY!!!!! <P>
