Autumn Getaway

I truly think autumn is the most gorgeous part of the year, and thought I would share info on a beautiful park in NJ that I think is probably the most gorgeous place to go this time of year. It is Hacklebarney State Park in Chester NJ. It is around 500 acres, has a natural river going through it. Nearby there are apple cider mills to go to and an outdoor zoo at Alstead Farms.

I just thought it was kind of selfish to keep this place to myself and not tell people about it, and considering that there is hardly any areas like this left in NJ, I thought maybe those from NJ/NY might be interested. More info can be found at http://www.state.nj.us/dep/forestry/parks/hackle.htm

I am just a nature lover and thought maybe some other people here were too.

here in dc if you want to see the foliage with your chick the best place to do it is skyline drive up in the mountains. it looks nice as you drive through it and there are alot of little side trails that are very secluded, if your into that kind of thing.



I want to date an anorexic chick so that if we are weighed together we'll appear to be a normal couple.

I agree Coco. I like to get away by myself to a local park or two in the Morris County area in the fall too. It RULES!

And now that the leaves are pretty much all down in my area, that intoxicating aroma of dry leaves in the crisp air is all over. It's METAL.
