I think it is because it almost gives you a feeling "that you are almost part of their family" type of thing. Kind of a warm feeling of watching the characters grow, fall in love, go through hard times, exciting times, etc. Each day you kind of participate in their life's trials with them.

ok.. this one is easy. Guys are always the ones who have to make the first move. We spend ALL of our lives trying to read signs of women trying to think "hay.. she seems nice maybe I can talk to her..." Guys get rejected ALL the F'en time. You would not believe how many times. So if a girl is looking at a guy and just gives a smile the guy might take this as "hay he's nice..." And BAM! the guy will make his move. Men do not have the VETO power choice. Women get to wait for a guy to come on to them . Seldom do women hit on men so a man looks for every possible sign.

This is an easy one. Guys Love 2 things. To be master of their own world and to be the hero. Video games are a small way to feel that rush. What does he do? Plays PS2. why? cause in that world he can control some aspect of his life.

Because we love it! If you want to look historically - women, have been the "gatherers" in the past - it was generally the women preparing a home for their families, preparing meals, getting clothing for their families, etc.
