Hey, I wrote my letters. I want them in NY. But the talk is like, "if the leave NYC, it's all over." WJFK might be R&F's best shot at syndication. It sure as hell has more power than podunk little WNEW. Hate them or not, D&M and The Sports Junkies had and have some pretty decent syndication deals.

IF they do end up here, they might be on the fast track for syndication in Philly and out west, as that WJFK works with quite a few stations along the west coast that picked up D&M and/or the Junkies.

Granted, it might take them out of NYC for a little while, but coming to a station like WJFK might still give them at least a shot at getting back into NY, or at least broadcasting into it. It worked for Stern (Yes, I know, he was on DC 101).

No they are not too good for DC. This a not a NY vs. DC contest. WNEW is not exactly Podunk either( it did manage to get O&A syndicated, and management chose NY's O&A in drive time over D&M.)The fact of the matter is we don't want them to leave. Another fact is they sound better from the New York station(NEW has 5x's the amount of phone lines and is much more technologicall advanced than JFK). I complement DC as being the only city smart enough to GET the show, besides NY. NEW has probably one of the strongest FM signals in the area. NEW's biggest problem is that they don't have Stern on in the morning. Stern makes so much money that he carries WXRK by himself.

Can we just stop this us against them attitude.

Look the DC listeners love having the boys live. We hope to have the occassional show at WJFK so we can also participate. The majority of us want the boys to stay in NYC so we all can hear them and the regulars on the show can pop in. Listener participation is the show.

So support the show try and let the station and advertisers know that you love the show. Hopefully they will stay at WNEW or go to another station in NYC.

If they end up at WJFK they will do fine and they will be supported and hopefully the syndication will grow from there.
