I know that this isn't even considered old school, but I'm trying to see if I'm the only one who remembers a show on TGIF in the 1990's called <i>On Our Own</i>. It was basically a family sitcom, except for the fact that the brothers and sisters on the show were really brothers and siters off camera (the Smollets); but the oldest brother was played by some comedian who looked nothing like the others.

Another interesting point was that the next oldest brother was incredibly ripped. I remember one episode when he was doing millitary style push ups and all of the chicks in the audience screamed.

Does it ring a bell?

I have no recollection of that, and I'm fairly decent when it comes to TGIF knowledge...

Do you remember the abortion that was the faux black and white TV show, proposed to be the lost episodes of a Honeymooners-style show that was just uncovered from a buried vault? It played for 2 episodes in the 9 pm spot, I believe, though its name eludes me.
