So I went to St. Patrick's Cathedral on Sunday because I was in the neighborhood. It's been a while since I've been there. They now have a gift show in one of the vestibules. Now, I don't mind this. I understand it's a bit of a tourist stop. But it's hard to pray and get into the ceremony with a cash register going off. I just don't think it's right to be selling things during mass.

Yeah, it pisses me off too. I'm not too big on it beign there, but I understand. I have never been to mass there, but they actually make sales during mass? That's ridiculous. There's no excuse for that.

They were selling little statues and other engravened images during mass. Very distracting.
