Norwegian landlord wants to decorate pub with penis pictures

A Norwegian pub landlord wants to hang up pictures of penises on his walls because he feels pubs are for men.

Christian Jorgensen, one of the owners of Lauritz Skjenkehus in Trondheim, is looking for models willing to pose for the pictures.

He feels that women's bodies are represented too often in the art world and that it's time for a change.

Mr Jorgensen told P4 he thought penises were the ideal symbol for a pub "because when you drink a lot of beer you want to go for a pee".

So far, his search for models has proved fruitless even though he has reassured potential models that the pictures would be tasteful and would only "represent the private part".

"I believe it will be something different, something new. Some people will find it funny and others will find it provocative....and we would have obtained the reaction we wanted," he said.
