I mean really. The whole country is up late eating greasy food, getting bombed and watching the game. The people who actually do make it to work, are completely unproductive, bringing the economy to a standstill. Do we really need Veteran's Day AND Memorial Day? Same idea. The superbowl is a truly American festivity and should be honored as such.

actually i would gladly work the day after the superbowl if the opening days of the NCAA basketball tournament were given off. I mean on that first Thursday and Friday you have 32 games being played starting at 11:30 and ending at 11:30 at night. I have taken those days off now for the last 4 years at work and over half the men at my work do also

My birthday(same as my uncle) is close to superbowl sunday.
I was robbed as a child.
We'd hve "superbowl double birthday parties".
