There have been lots of great ideas thrown around here of late. Ideas such as sky writing, banner planes, billboards, newspaper ads, etc, etc... Lots of people here obviously want to help out. However time is not on our side. Obviously many of the ideas are just WAY too expensive. Even if we got 200 people to donate $20 a pop, that's still only $2,000 (and I didn't even need college to do that math).
We have a lot of people saying they will donate money. I think we need to start putting our money where our mouth's are then. The ideas are out there, and when we finally can find one that is feasible, we'll need to act ASAP. Maybe it's not such an absurb idea to start donating NOW. How we'd do this, I don't know. Obviously, someone who is well trusted (ex. the Capos) would have to be the over-seers of all funds raised.
If we can do this, then obviously, we'd need a good idea to put the money into. One that will have an impact and that media and Infinity will notice. There are lots of ideas out there...but what one to choose?
In the mean time, I think we need to step up, and start getting out there on the streets, highways, parkways...WHATEVER, and get the word out. Signs on cars, bridges, overpasses... Flyers, panflits, etc, etc. Sure, a a big event of some source would gain more attention, but every little bit helps.
This is no easy task. It's not as simple as making a radio station decide to NOT fire a show. It's much more complicated than that. But we CAN do it. Keep writing letters, whatever you do, do NOT stop with the letters. It's not a time to be half assed. Our time is short, let's make things happen.
