Behind enemy lines: getting to John Sykes...

As I was writing letters for some of my friends at work, it was brought to my attention that one of the girls I work with is actually personal friends with John Sykes! This girl is a pretty good friend so I called her to ask about it. She had to be brief, but she said that yes, she is pretty close with John and that she would be more than happy to put in some good words about the show and us listeners. She's gonna call me back later tonight or tomorrow to talk about it.

Any suggestions as to what I should have her say to John? Any questions I should have her ask?

Heck, I doubt Smiley would lie. He's a decent guy (so what if his girlfriend became bisexual tonight. lol). My suggestion is maybe we can collect a few hundred letters or one of the petitions going around and have your friend hand deliver them to Mr Sykes.
