It's important for me for my parents to like my significant other. When I get to a certain comfort level, I'll introduce them.

My family is important to me. If my family doesn't like you or vice versa, that could be a potential problem.

I see the stress other people go through because of this problem. I don't need it.

i just don't like being nagged. i'll help out if you ask me to, just don't make it seem like a complaint when you ask. if my wife wants me to watch a show with her or play a game I want her just to ask me to do so. I don't want her going the route where she is like "you never watch TV with me or play games with me"...that makes me want to do them even less. otherwise let me do what i want. I don't ask much of her as I respect she doesn't want to sit at a computer with me and listen to R&F and read fantasy football articles. she is perfectly happy sitting on the couch 3 feet in front of me watching her shows.

Tying in with that is that I need a girl who understands that sometimes i have my "off-days." Some times i just wind up in a blue funk and need some time to straighten my shit out. And nothing is more annoying when i'm off-kilter than having someone ask me fifty times in a row "what's wrong" ARRRRRGGGHHH!! Fucking agravating. Remember if a guy says "nothing" it really means "nothing I want to talk about." I wind up being mad in general to being mad at the girl.
