I'm SO FUCKING SICK of NOT having all the COOL stations in my cable box! I keep reading about cool shit going down on scrambled channels, and we ALL know the horror that is scrabled porn.

So I'm going to be BLUNT. Whoever has a 100% hook-up with a cable box de-scrabler guy, please E-mail me. I have a Radio Shack universal cable box I'd like to "upgrade" if you know what I mean. Please include the price this person charges too. I'll get the cash together.

Cable box chip is dead my friend. I worked in cable. I got to know cable. Cable became my friend and my mistress. The cable company, as well as Satellite companies absolutely love to fry these chips. And it's not hard to do. I wouldn't bother. Best thing to do is get a friend in the cable company, they can hook you up. That's what I did for my buddies.

Cable companies rarely fry the boxen. Of course, if your cable goes out, you may wanna hook it up with an unaltered box first. There are also devices you can pick up, if you have the right cable box, that can throw your cable box into test mode. Of course, I only know these things from a sibling who used to work for the cable company.

And GFM, Satellites are a completely different and unrelated issue.

i once accidentally recieved all the channel my local cable company had to offer. I really got nervous when i read the thing at the beginning of a WWF pay per view. It actually said the signal would be delivered to them and they would prosecute or something like that.
