does anyone know where this guy is? i thought he was great in WcW and the Thrillers were probbably my favorite WCW faction toward the end there, i'd really like to know where this guy is, he rocked.

I believe that he got released a few months by the wwe . He was in the WWE developemental system.

Last I've read, he's working for WWA, and will appear on a PPV that will air in this country in February. The show also supposedly will include Sting and Lex Luger, among others. <P>

I have always enjoyed "Above Average" Mike Sanders and his finisher the 3.0!

He studied Tagi Jitzu, a solid mic worker and is a very proficient wrestler. Vinny Ru would be fortunately to get back Sanders!

Yep, they were trying to make him into an announcer and I guess it just didn't work out.

Sanders was released from the WWE developmentals. He just did some interview or something like that in which he claims that Heyman got him fired from the WWE because he was threatened by him (allegedly the WWE was asking Sanders to do some consulting work or something).

I don't know if that's true and even if it is, I really don't think Sanders should be burning any bridges unless he can help it.

Sanders has been backstage SEVERAL times at recent NWA TNA PPVs, and a lot of people seem to believe that once his no-compete clause in his WWE contract is up, he will likely have some sort of role with that company.

I would hope so; Sanders is too talented a guy to just waste.

wwe must not think he's this great wrestler cause they wanted him ta anounce or help out creative side... well i dont know the wwe must think he SUCKS ae a rassler.... never liked him never will..... hth

It's true that his ring skills weren't the greatest, but he was decent enough. He'd fit right in with the rest of the mid / undercard of the WWE. He'd likely have a chance to shine if he went with the NWA.

The WWE does have a bad habit of sticking fairly talented wrestlers as announcers: Raven & D-Lo are good examples.
