I don't think he will... i think he is using all this press to show Atlanta what others think he is worth. I think it would be a crime if he did not end his career in Atlanta. He, John Smoltz and Greg Maddox should never wear anything but that Atlanta uniform. Opinions anyone??

Another Met fan and I doubt he'll leave. I would like him here but too much for my taste.

Plan B: Sign Daal and Moyer for 2-3 years at a fraction of the cost of Glavine. Nix the possible trade of Neagle-Burnitz/Ordonez. Resign Trachsel. Also, try to sign Mendoza or Stanton.

Starting rotation: Leiter, Astacio, Moyer, Daal, Trachsel and Thomson as spot starter. Not bad at all.

2004: Make room for Jose Reyes and Aaron Heilmann!

el oh el that's a good one!!!! You're on fire tonight, keep goin!!! el oh el If Sid Fernandez makes a comeback this year are you gonna say they have the best staff in all of baseball??

But seriously They need to get Glavine so they will actually have a pitcher win 20 games (ponentially). Give him the 4th year at 9 or 10 mil per, and worry about 2006 season in 2005. He needs that 4th year to leave because who want to play on 3 different teams in thier last 5 years while they try to reach 300 wins. I think he needs 58 to get there.

I've been a Braves fan since I knew what a baseball was and I hope he leaves. The day is coming soon when him and Maddox and Smoltzy are gonna be gone.

Glavine's still good but is he worth a four year deal like he wants? Probably not. Let the Mets have him.

Might as well save some cash and develop some young pitching for the future.

hey the teams already lost Smoltz and Avery as starters so if Glavine leaves theyll probally still be good enough to loose to the Yankees in the World Series.
