Okay, despite my bad spelling of N-I-A-G-A-R-A Falls no one gave me the answer to my original question:

Is this some sort of obscure refrence to some movie, TV show, music lyric or something? I.e. a movie where someone actually HAD a beard living in Niagara Falls, Ontario Canada

The only direct reference I can think of is Anthony Michael Hall's character in 'The Breakfast Club' saying that he'd had sex with a chick in Niagara Falls. Other than that, I think we all know someone who has the 'trip to Canada story.'
