I wanted this to be in the "Intern Hazing" thread, but I think its too much of an seperate topic
From the FAQ:

That would make Billy the oldest intern possible, not to mention the worst dead-end in the history of radio. I can buy that he's an employee of the station rather than a member of the crew R&F said "hire or we don't do the show" (ie Robin Quivers or Charles McCord with Stern and Imus respectivly) and probably will still be at WNEW with the changeover (ala Earl Douglas and Superstar) but how is he an intern?
