My grandmother has died

Today about 15 minutes ago my grandmother has lossed her fight with cancer, as some of you know this has been effecting my life with so much pain thru the last few months, many of you have been supportive, and those who i have talked with have given me shoulders to cry. I just wanted to thank all of you who have been there for me in this time, it really has helped. thank you again

I greatly appreciate you all for your suppport, it hurts so much to have lost a wonderful woman, she trully had love and compassion for everyone, alot of my family always said i ahve that quality i her, i love everyone that enters my life, i try to be there for people and let them know that..although i may seem like a pain sometimes for caring so much lol, its tough very tough and hurts more then words can express, unfortunately i just came back from the hospital i had to rush my mom to the hosptial, although my grndmom was not my moms biological mother she loved her like one, and my mother is now in a massive depression and she does not look well also.

Your mom's reaction is a normal bereavement response. She'll be OK. Don't be unduly concerned unless it lasts (with the same degree of intesnsity) for longer than 2 months. The same applies to you as well as your mom.

You've suffered a major loss in your life. A life changing event. Give yourself (and her) time to process it.

I'm sorry for you, Grandmothers are the best i mine died 6 years ago and to this day I smile ant think of all the granda ma stories we had together and get a tear in my eye. Try to remember the great things about her and carry on some of those traditions in your family.
