I remember when the show first appeared, and it was OK, but nothing special. I notice that many young people love the show. What's the appeal? Personally, I preferred the "Groovy Ghoulies".

A stoner and his dog, a bisexual man with an ascot, a hardcore lesbian, and a slut in a "Mystery Machine" constantly breaking down at old, haunted mansions? How can you go wrong!?

I think it was probably that the mysteries were just so hard to figure out. I mean, who knew that the one person that the crew would meet in the cartoon was ALWAYS the bad guy?! I never saw that coming! haha. I think the Globetrotters episode is what got me addicted.

Did you ever notice how Fred was always 'the girls and I will go this way, and Shaggy and Scooby go that way'?

Fred was a playa.

Eddie Izzard did a bit in his stand up special that I think rings true. People identify with Shaggy and scooby because they are cowards. I mean come on, everybody likes to think they'd be the big brave hero, but deep down I think we all know how we'd really react. Thats what makes them so lovable, they are so like us.

Plus I wanna fuck the ever lovin bejesus out of Daphne.

P.S. I'll bet dollars to donuts that the live actoin movie will suck big sweat donkey nutz.

"What?! Huh?! What will come out no more?!"

Love Eddie Izzard and its absolutely true. They believe in cowardice and sandwiches but they're always upbeat. Youre with them all the way! Go shaggy! Go scooby!

It had a great theme song and opening that hooked you in as a kid.

And who doesn't say to their dog, "Wanna Scooby snack?", when giving them a treat.

If you don't, you should.
