I NEED SOME ADVICE HERE.
MY BF'S "BEST FRIEND" HAS BEEN TALKING CRAP ABOUT HIM. HIS BEST FRIEND HAS BEEN TELLING ME ALL THESE AWFUL THINGS THAT HE THINKS MY BF'S DONE BEHIND MY BACK, BUT HE HAS NO PROOF. HE TELLS ME THAT MY BF PROBABLY HAS A FEW GIRLS ON THE SIDE AND THAT HES A SLUT. THIS CAME UP ALL OF A SUDDEN. HE ALWAYS SAID THINGS ABOUT MY BF BUT NEVER ABOUT MY RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM.

WHAT I'D LIKE TO KNOW IS IF ANYONE THINKS HES DOING THIS BECAUSE HE WANTS TO BREAK US UP TO HAVE ME FOR HIMSELF OR HE DOESN'T WANT TOP SEE ME GET HURT?

I'm in a similar situation, but I don't talk shit about either of them to the other. Maybe an occasional thing that pisses me off about the girl's boyfriend, but never real trash talk.

What a fucking little punk! That's no best friend! Maybe he does wants you, but he's going about it the wrong way.

Who was he friends with first? His loyalty should be with you if you knew him first.

Do you like this guy at all?

It sounds like he wants you for himself. Do have any feelings for him?

Either way, if you're such great friends, you should be able to talk to him.

Ask him point blank, "What is this shit?". Make sure to observe every reaction he has to your question, mostly the face. Judge his honesty on how he answers the question.

You must know him pretty well, so you'll be able to tell if he's lying or not telling everything behind his actions.

The key here is not to do anything. Be patient, observe, and remember. Once you have enough to prove that he's lying or whatever, confront him with all you've gathered.

Oh yeah! And that shit you probably heard that people scratch their nose when they're lying is to general to base anything on. There have been times when I was telling the absoulte truth and my nose itches.

You should get to the bottom of this quick. Good luck!

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR ADVICE. I ACTUALLY HAVE SPOKEN TO MY BF TO TELL HIM TO WATCH OUT FOR THIS GUY AND I SPOKE TO HIS BEST FRIEND TOO. I COULD TELL THAT HE WAS MAKING UP THE STORIES ABOUT MY BF BEING WITH OTHER GIRLS. HE TOLD ME HE HAD NO ACTUAL PROOF. OF COURSE MY BF DENIED EVER BEING WITH ANOTHER GIRL SINCE HE MEET ME. IM SURE EVENTUALLY I'LL FIND OUT THE TRUTH. IF I DO FIND OUT ITS TRUE AND BECOME SINGLE I'LL GO ON RON N FEZ MYSTERY DATE....LOL

It's immediately clear that he is not a friend to his so-called "best friend." I don't see the sense in taking the word of a known betrayer/back stabber.

As far as his motivation goes, only he knows for sure. It's possible that he wants to break you guys up and then start dating you. It's also possible that the guy is just a dick.

You've spoken to your bf, which was the right thing to do.

Let's just assume that your Boyfriend's friend is right, and he is cheating, don't you think it would be easy for him to get PROOF? I mean, hanging around him all the time, he could steal #'s from his jacket, or get him talking about it on tape (if he was REALLY determined to help you out I mean).

I say this guy is jealous of your relationship with his friend. He probably feels left out and doesn't get to hang out with your boyfriend anymore since now he has to spend time with you. Either that or he wants you to yourself! But you know damn well that no guy would go against his 'BOY' and tell a girl she's getting played.

You should talk to both of them at the same time... the liar will turn red, and anyway, YOU'RE a woman, just go with your instinct!

thanx for the advice latin spice. well this past weekend i sat down and spoke to my bf abou8t everything that his so called best friend was saying. He told me that he would never do that to me and that when his best friend met me for the first time he told my bf that he would want to date me. So i think his friend is doing this to ruin our relationship. I asked his best friend for proof and he said that he doesn't have any and hes never seen him with another girl. So until I get proof i'm just not gunna talk to his friend nemore. Thank you guys for your help. All of you were a big help
