Okay, it's a nice little souvenir from your favorite radio show but...will it mean ANYTHING when the show is gone?
I suggest we mail back our BigAss Cards to John Sykes at Infinity. Let's flood the mailroom at Infinity with a "plastic tidal wave" of new mail. Don't want to part with your card? That's cool, PHOTOCOPY it and send it in. We have to keep the stream of mail going..let's not stop now!

Ditto that! Been waiting four months now. I would send it to Sykes though if I ever got it. I don't think cancelling your request will mean as much since the card is actually ordered from the show. Telling Ron and Fez that you no longer want your card will have no impact on Viacom or Infinity. Just keep those letters (and your card if that's your desire) going out to the Infinity and Viacom bigwigs. What number does the BA cards start with anyway? I've seen numbers in the low 100's and as high as the 20,000's. Does that mean there are over 20,000 card holders? Not to mention all of us who never got theirs, and all the fans who never even ordered one. I'd say that's a pretty solid fan base!

With all respect to Heckler, whos done outstanding work to try and save ron and fez, i commend you. But sending the big ass card back? I dont think that is nessecarry at the time, its a form of protest, but its also a way of promotion, we could do alot more by keeping our bigass cards and showing them off like a wedding ring, rather than getting rid of it. All my friends want a big ass card, and subsequently, are now listening to the show, simply because they saw the card and i said thier funny, listen and you can get one. I mean this is just my opinion, and ill leave it up to you all to decide if parting with the card is nessecary, but i dont believe so, thats just my two cents. <P>
Otherwise, great work heck, keep it up and keep the letters coming, try mailing CBS, the company that owns Infinity. <P>

I get whatcha mean, and its not a bad idea, im just saying that at least here in DC we can use the big ass card to self promote the show. You could always get a bunca big ass cards and burn them on the air, theres a good way of defiance.

I sent mine in with this letter:

To whom it may concern,

I am sending this card back as a small sample of my frustration with this radio station. This Big ASS Card is the first premium I have ever obtained from a radio show in my 10 year love affair with talk radio.

I send this card back not out of hatred for the show, for I do not hate this show. It has never once offended me, nor has it wounded or harmed me. I send this card back in protest of the unfair treatment given to The Ron and Fez Show. Aside from being upstanding company men, and moving to whatever time slot WNEW asked them to, Ron and Fez are the most consistently funny show on the airwaves. I send this card back now, because if Ron and Fez were to leave the NYC airwaves, I would have no need for it, as it would be nothing more than a sore reminder of a show I once loved being taken from it's legion of listeners.

Please do consider the fans in all of this, while we may not seem like much to you, the number of Ron and Fez fans grows every day, despite the constant time changes. Some of us have followed Ron and Fez through several different time slots. Please do not insult the fans of these stations and Ron and Fez by removing them from a station they helped to build up and keep afloat.

Fantastic idea! Could you imagine the shock on the faces of the bigwigs at Infinity/Viacom when their offices get flooded with 30,000 Big ASS cards? <P>
I know they have great meaning and sentimental value to many of you, but the statement it would make by sending them back would be HUGE <P>

Mine is going back, along with my wow stickers, wow key chains, sports guys t-shirt, and anything else that has WNEW on it. I'll let them know that they would charge me if I wanted to advertise my product on their station, so I will not be promoting their station for free anymore. When Ron and Fez find a new station, I'm sure they will mail out new cards anyway. <P>
In my letter to Mr. Sykes, I will kindly let him know that the entertainment value of infinity broadcasts is disappointing at best. I really want to tell him that what they put on the radio is a bunch of shit, but I'm sure he would just throw out the letter. I'll also let him know that as I seek a new radio station to listen to, I will not tune in to any Infinity stations. New Yorkers deserve a much better choice than what we have now. Now I'm stuck listening to music at work all day, but not K-rock, because that's an Infinity station. <P>
The worst part: I put NEW on at 10 to hear Friday's replay, and I've fucking

i can't bring myself to do it. my bac is the only physical connection i have left to ron and fez and although it's kind of silly, i treasure it too much to part with. but ur right heckler, it is a great demonstration of our devotion to r&f, so i'll do the least i can and send in as many photocopies of it as possible.
