Is there a name for the condition some people have that is marked by a total inability to detect sarcasm in posts?

Is there an emoticon that represents "sarcasm alert" to those who are unable to detect sarcasm ("sarcastically disabled"?) that one can use in posts?

Some psychologists or psychiatrists will tell you that sarcasm is actually just a slightly more palatable way to communicate anger.

I think it can be funny.

What does the Oracle say? My Magic (Trick?) 8-Ball isn't working today.

of the other gay methods we
have to use to make sure it's
clear we are being sarcastic...

or just build up a reputation for
being a sarcastic prick and you
don't have to use those
things...then you can get away
with saying the mean things you
think about people and they will
think you are being sarcastic...

Well, I'll put it to you this way.

If I know people, and if they take shots at me, it's funny, I can deal with it.

But if I don't know people, and they are trying to be sarcastic, or in some cases, tragically unfunny, it just makes me want to punch them in face.

Repeatedly.

It's amplified on a message board when the ability to detect emotion is not there.
