Over the years, there have been jobbers that we all have a strange fondness for. here are some of mine:

SD "Special Delivery" Jones (makes fingers shooting sign at crowd)

The Mulkey Brothers (fearless losers of the Mid Atlantic region)

Joel Deaton (a glass jaw and the heart of a lion)

Vinnie Valentino (bare feet and a beltless midsection)

Mike Jackson ( a junior heavyweight champion who made the heavyweights look good)

Iron Mike Sharpe (even the leather wrist band couldn't help him beat the faces)

Sam Houston (the only jobber who managed to get a belt -- Central States title)

Jim Powers(i'm shocked he never got to be bigger, he could work and had a great look, did team him with Roma and get a minor push as the Young Stallinos, but that was just to have a team for the survivor series)

And was the Goon really a jobber? I wasn't watching much then, I always thought he had theme music and everything.

I forgot one more, he was a Boston area special from the Primetime Wrestling days, when Gorilla and Bobby would introduce the house-show matches from the Montreal Gardens, Boston Gardens, Madison Square Garden and the Philly Spectrum, amongst others, when they would appear on the local cable shows. That's when Tv wrestling had a great look, the audience was dark, and only the ring was lit, like it outta be. Anyway, they'd wheel out this guy who had to be in his 50's and looked like Kevin Sullivan's dad. That man of course, who did some WWF announcing too,

"The Duke of Dorchester" Pete Dougherty.

Classic classic jobber.
