This is fact, the WWE has not been the same since Austin walked. There is no one in the history of pro wrestling like The Texas Rattlesnake. He was wrong for walking but the WWE needs him back badly, especially RAW.

I miss him as I miss the Rock for their drawing power and overall presence but in the long run the World Title will go back around either one of their waists and there will be a "Come back on a long and hard road" storyline and it will still not do anything for the younger guys. If any more tiles are added to the glass ceiling so to speak, guys like Booker T, RVD and Jericho will mever get their due. I see the WWE in a state of transition right now that could last a few years like the low points after Hogan left and they had to rebuild. The more and more Vince and Co. try and create something new the more it may flop. The only way for something to break the WWE big again is gonna be something unplanned and spontaneous.

I don't miss Stone Cold, but
I DO miss good

NO i don't miss him in the slightest sense. I'm most likely THE STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN HATER!

I DO miss good
wrestling.

Do you miss GOOD storylines? Because any company with Benoit, Angle, Y2J, RVD, Rey-Rey, Eddie, and Chavo is damn good in my book.

I kind-of miss stone cold, his oler character though. If he went back to being a hardass drinking beer and giving the finger, maybe i would actually start watching. And maybe if they had some good STORYLINES or MATCHES, i would also start watching. I do miss mick foley however.

Mick Foley, The Rock and Austin WERE the late 90's boom. Goldberg, Sting and the nWo were part of it, but no where as big as they imagine themselves to be. Foley Rock and Austin were so hot, that the supporting programs relaxed and developed nicely, and THAT was what made you watch every minute of Raw. Val Venis, the Godfather, Sexual Choclate, The New Age Outlaws and DX, Vinny Mac, the Taker all were great support for the big 3.

The biggest problem right now seems to be that Vince thought it was HHH and The Taker driving that bus, when they were just along for the ride. WWF needs another kick in the ass, and they no longer have ECW to blue print and steal from.

HHH sucks, and the WWF is impossibly lame.

My prediction is Stone Cold is back from the audience to stun Vince on the 500 raw, and things are back. The only big money matches that are left are:

Stone Cold vs. Hogan

Hogan vs. McMahon

Rocky vs. Shawn Michaels

Mick Foley's return

and the matches that would be the BIGGEST in wrestling history, without rival or question, and could sell 100,000 tickets in the U.S., especailly if they went back to the Candaidn border at the Sivler Dome

Bret Hart vs. Stone Cold

-and-

The biggest money making match in wrestling history bar none:

Hell in the Cell, Vince McMahon vs. Bret Hart

I would travel anywhere in the country to be in the building for that electricity and pop for Bret.

I miss him.

And he IS coming back, it's just a matter of when. Notice how many of the "RAW's Greatest Moments" they've been showing feature Austin? They're getting everyone warmed up for the return.

I hope he comes back, and gets on the Smackdown roster FAR, FAR away from HHH and the horrible RAW creative crew. And I will love him for that if he can pull it off, because he will have WON his little pissing contest.

I completely agree with the nature boy, the mid 90's was the BEST wrestling i saw, and i would totally watch every minute of that.

hell yeah i miss him and all the weird arm motions he does while wrasslin. but he's also been ordered to stay away from booze. thats half his persona.

but i hope he stays away for a bit longer. that way, hhh will know just how much he sucks when he cant carry the wwe with its biggest stars gone. i mean, WHO WANTS TO SEE HIM "WRESTLE" HBK AGAIN??? WHO??? besides vince.
