Why keep parents interfering our business?

Can any1 please (!!) tell me why parents can be a real pain in the butt?
Why do they always wanna know 'bout everything you do?
Does everything has to be so strict? does it depend on age?
when are you grown up?
Maybe not until you leave your eldery house to go on your own?
What do u guys feel about this?

I used to feel the same way. But then I left my parents house and now I see that every child under the age of 18 should be kept under lock and key.

thats their job. parents are supposed to be up your ass, thats why some kids wind up taking butcher knives to their parents throats ..plus they know what they did at your age, i wouldnt want my kids to be like me when i was 16 or 17.

My dad isnt around much, so he probably wouldn't notice if I wasnt around. And my mom always used to have to know where I was and whatever. She even sent my brother and his friends to come looking for me a bunch of times. Then I told her how I felt and I made her cry. But now she knows I smoke, and she buys me cigarettes (I'm only 17) and she isnt really worried about me hooking up with guys cause it doesnt happen much, and anyway I have a boyfriend now and I dont get to see him alot, so she knows I wont end up pregnant or something.
