I was on the phone a lot tonight with the show.

At first I called to tell Paul O how he rubs up against little boys on public buses, and Billy came on during the commercial to tell me the show was moving on. No problem.

But then I called in to try and yell at Wonderboy for being an Artschool ass, and they went to commercial. But DIDN'T HANG UP! Billy came back on and told me they were going to discuss it when they came back. Great.

Then the changed the subject to "Names for this Hockey shootoff" thing. So I thought, man, I've got nothing. But I stayed on and thought of a name for it to try for the tickets they were giving away.

The moral of the story is:DON'T HANG UP!

If you're patient, and stay with the bit, you can get your comedy on the radio!

Haha, I called in to enter the Billy Hockey Contest and was put on hold... the screener asked if I was 'LatinXoXo' *hehe* after I told him my name...

So then I was back on hold, and the show was over.
A few friends suggested that I wait for Letterman, but in reality, I just wanted to see how long it would take Billy to inform the callers on hold that no more calls were being accepted...

I got as far as commercials! hahaha
I'm a dork!

before I could get on, and I made
it through commercials and the
first ten minutes of Loveline just
to see how long it would take
before someone realized I was
still on hold. They never did. I
just hung up cuz I didn't wanna
listen to that crappy show. It's
also fun to listen to delay-free
radio.

Yeah moe, last night i was on hold for Oscar Blurbs, but then Lenay did one that was so close to mine i felt that it wasnt worth saying, so i hung up, then i failed to realize i didnt need a oscar blurb, i could just tell paul-o he sucks, but too late. Then when Jersey Rich was on talking about art i was thinking well i called in once already but left, and when it came to doing the names, i didnt have anything great, i woulda said "Bigasses on Ice" but that blew, so instead i tried to get an excuse to shoot billy with a paintball gun in DC, predicting that he will lose this competition.

So moe, last night i learned to stay on the phone first hand when i didnt.

I used to get the ONLY cellular bills when on hold with O&A.
My record is 94 minutes...and by then, my battery would die!! UGH!!!

when i was at home in south jerz..rory would sometimes let me stay on hold to listen to part of the show before they would put me on air and a little bit afterwards so i could get my RF fix...but i never really had to wait on hold for that long except the very first time i called in..

one time i waited on O&A for 4 hrs- the complete show- they never got to the topic- so the next day i called and AWESOME GARRETT STINKY let me threw - it wa sthe topic of what do men do wrong in bed or something like that

about 2 months ago i called R&F- i was on about 1 hr and i got threw BUT they put me on at a bad time adn were discussing politcs- ALL I WANTED TO DO was say HI, THAT THEY ROCKED, and that we need them in PHILLY! i felt like an ass
