What the F. I clicked on General
Discussion and wham, a little
window comes up with a picture
of a 5 thousand dollar check
flashing "WINNER!" in all colors
of the rainbow. I'm scared... and
confused.

try doing some maintenance on your system. it may just be a latent ad caused by cookies or what not...im not a puter pro, sorry. also i have this ad eraser thingy...go to lava soft.com to download ad-aware. you have to run it once a week, but it works pretty well.

B) My point wasn't simply to
complain that pop-ups annoy me,
it was just that I was in shock that
I actually got a pop-up while
browsing ronfez.net.

We dont have pop up ads.

Sometimes pop up ads can sit and stalk you, just waiting for the right moment to pop up and get you to click it.

The pop up wasnt from this site, it was from another site you visited....most likly porn.

It's possible you have Gator or some other spy/ad ware running on your pc. Download a copy of ad-aware from http://lavasoft.de to check your pc.

not only do i havea ad aware i run it almost everyday while im at school. Dont you think it weird taht me and someone else got it going into the same forum. I also havea pop up blocker that it went past so it could be from here.
