S.E.X. = SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT X-TREME

...and it is the new faction/brand that Vince Russo created.

It currently has the Harris Boyz and Road Dogg Jesse James who just spouted off that he joined forces with Russo and turned his back on his father, NWA Representative Bob Armstrong, because Russo knows how to make stars like DX! Russo is allegedly absent from the show tonight "recruiting new talent." Should be some very interesting weeks to follow.

I know its rehashing but hey... its better than what I'm getting on WWE and that is hard for me to admit.

Who do you guys and gals think that should join this faction? Also, do you think this is a step in the right direction?

To start off the show tonight, Hennig calls out Russo. Russo comes out with the Harris Boys then to my surprise: "Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels, "Primetime" Elix Skipper and Loki attacked Perfect while Road Dogg does commentating, acting as JR and sounding like a totally asshole.

It looks as though S.E.X. is now consisting of Russo, Harris Boys, A.J. Styles sans Plumtree, BG James, Loki, Fallen Angel and Elix Skipper!

...later in the night, Sonny "I'm not Rock" Siaki, the X Division Champion has gone on board.

Amazing Red, his cousins SAT, "Phenomenal" AJ Styles, Jerry Lynn, Tony Mamaluke, Jimmy Yang, Shark Boy, Jorge Estrada, EZ Money, David Young, Kid Kash, Jason Cross and the Crimson Dragon makes the X-Division the premier division in all of wrestling today and if you don't see it, I don't know what I can tell you to change your mind.

Read my lips... ummm post, they are ten times better than Jeff Hardy and RVD right now! No bullshit!

There is WAY too
much talking...The only one that has had a long interview segment for the past few weeks was Russo and S.E.X. It is hardly 'WAY' too much talking. The rest of the time is basically the tag team division and the X-Division (Disciples of the New Church, AMW, Road Warriors, Harris Boys, Hot Shots, Divine Storm).

I think the Heat / Velocity type show is already airing down south. I'm hoping they find a national syndicator soon.

One good sign is that they recently had to send away fans wanting to attend their show. True, they operate out of a relatively small venue, but it's always a good sign when you have a stacked house.

I'm hoping they find a national syndicator soon.It already is airing in the south in certain areas and they said they are trying to work on a nationally syndicated show in the coming weeks/months which is very good for the success of wrestling/sports-entertainment into the future.

Hopefully, Jerry Jarrett is watching Russo closely. Vince MAY have learned from his WCW mistakes, but his track record with cruisers hasn't always been the best.MAY is very much the operative word but its a wait-and-see basis.

*Russo said that since the creation of S.E.X. PPV buyrates have increased 22% (I'll take his word for it.)

*Also said that the Number One selling piece of NWA/TNA merchandise is the S.E.X. shirt (ordered one myself).

*Konnan did another random assault on members of TNA's X-Division but not anyone involved with S.E.X. As he was being escorted out of the ring, he was pointing at Tenay and saying that he knows what this is about. I smell K-Dawg joining S.E.X. in the very near future.

*"The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes (If you willl...) tries to reconcile with his former "Super Powers" teammate the "Russian Nightmare" Nikita Koloff although he was brutally attack last week at his hands and to join tradition but is cheapshotted by Koloff but he exits a separate way from S.E.X. and the backstage area. He'll probably fully join S.E.X. shortly.

*AJ Styles still says that he is a loner but S.E.X. seems like the only way to go. The Phenomenal One will make the right decision. Yes, he will.

*Sonny Siaki is utilizing a new finisher. Formerly the Siakalypse (Reverse Roll the Dice) and unleashed his newest finisher... the Siakalypse Now (Pumphandle into a Powerbomb) against green rookie Chris Vaughn in his NWA X-Division Title Defense.

*Another new addition to S.E.X. thanks to Mike Sanders (the Head Recruiter for S.E.X.) because they are now broadcasting to Australia is Australian star and former partner of Luke collectively called the New Bushwhackers, Ashley Hudson and named him their "Australian Champion"?!? Whatever.

Also during Sander's promo he spoke of another member that is coming and he is a "gift." He said it would be next week but I'll assume that it is Raven for now.

WTF?!? S.E.X. and Raven! Wow! Felt 100x's better than when X-Pac jumped ship to the WWF to join DX! What a fucking blockbuster!

As Peachy posted on the other thread... I just finished watching it myself and he literally stole the NWA World Title from The Chosen One.

After a bloodied Jarrett successfully defended it against BG James, "Heavy D" Don Harris, and "Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels and as he was celebrating with the other boys in the back, tradition (SAT, Kid Kash, Amazin Red, Lynn, Estrada, Killings, etc) Raven swoops in, Evenflows the Chosen One, steals the NWA/TNA World Title and leaves with Russo and S.E.X.

Top that WWE! Releasing Raven, has just bit you in the ass!

S.E.X. Related Stuff from this week:

*Show begins in darkness and Raven appears sitting in the stairway with a mic and the NWA World Title around his waist proclaiming, "Possession is 9/10ths of the law and what I'm wearing around my waist is the greatest prize the sport has to offer..." He continues his rant and I'll paraphrase this, called the crowd degenerates and when the light of his brillance shines upon them, they will all scatter like the cockroaches they are. Switches gears and speaks about Jarrett and teaching him the error of his ways. He gets pretty disgusting saying that if he has to he will, "urinate in [Jarrett's] bone marrow" and "rip off [Jarrett's] neck and use it as a latrine." He finishes his promo by saying, "Welcome to Raven's Clockwork Orange House of Fun" and quote the Raven...

Very sick and disturbed. Solid promo by the always entertaining, misunderstood and unappreciated Raven.

As Raven makes his way to the ring and finishes off his diatribe, he gets nailed from behind with a trashcan shot from Jarrett. The Chosen One tries to escape with his NWA title but Russo interferes and retrieves the title and flees back to the S.E.X. lockerroom.

*After the Amazin Red and Jorge Estrada opening match, Mike Sanders, like last week, tries to recruit Estrada and he wants an answer right now. Estrada responds by giving him the finger and a close fist shot. As Estrada tries to continue the assault, from behind comes Disco Inferno in a shiny black non-disco jumpsuit repeatedly nailing him with a chair. *America's Most Wanted (Storm and Harris) calls out Triple X for their rematch for the NWA/TNA Tag Titles after they were robbed last week. The remaining members of S.E.X. (sans Triple X, Raven and Russo) make their way to the ring and surround AMW. BG James on the mic says that Triple X aren't here and that [AMW] seem "S.E.X.ually frustrated" ... and that "here is a lesson on GROUP S.E.X." (Nice one Roadie). As they all swarm on AMW and give them a nice gang beating, from the rampway with chairs are "The Rock and Rock Express" Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson clearing the ring. We think they came to save AMW and represent tradition but as they help up Harris and Storm they get leveled by some decent chairshots from the old timers.

*AJ Styles pulls a promo and continues to say that he is not affiliated with S.E.X. Furthermore, he says that he only attacks Jarrett cuz he deserves the World Title. Raven swoops in from the S.E.X. lockerroom to the ring and tells AJ that he is not ready. AJ points at Raven's kilt and says, "is that a syringe in your skirt or are you just happy to see me?" Raven returns fire by saying that he does not need to take that comment from a kid that looks like Elton John's life partner wearing an N*SYNC starter kit. AJ fires back by telling Raven that he should take off the title, slither back into the S.E.X. lockerroom and "shoot up with a lil more heroine" (Wow, brutal stuff AJ, nice)!?! Raven obviously doesn't like the comment, takes off the title and lays it on the ring between them. They go head-to-head, stare down ensues and they push each other back a few times and the refs hit the ring to break it up. Jarrett jumps in the ring and levels Raven and gives the Stroke to AJ and retrieves his NWA/TNA Title!?! Damn you Jarrett! Raven deserves the title whether he won the best or not, biatch!

*After the finish of the Kash/Trinity vs. Siaki/Desire match, Konnan attacks Siaki with a kendo stick. So I guess he is not part of S.E.X. although he has some beef with Tenay and he'll get an interview, I'll assume next week. But he may still join S.E.X. anythi

I know everyone's up in arms about the return of some old faces, but I personally don't think some of them *coughzybyskorocknrollexpresscough* will be around past a couple weeks or so.

I'm finding the S.E.X. storyline very intriguing and I find myself wondering what is going to happen next....as opposed to the WWE, where I don't really care what happens next, I'm just hoping (and usually having those hopes crushed) that what I see won't suck.

I must say this though: the exchanges between Tony & Tenay last night were some of the most compelling TV I've seen on a wrestling program in a good while.

I must say this though: the exchanges between Tony & Tenay last night were some of the most compelling TV I've seen on a wrestling program in a good while.It was surprisingly very well put together, Se7en. I'm pleasantly surprised that Tenay and Schiavone pulled this one out.

Winter, here is what you waited for. Sorry bro, was macking on the phone for a few hours so I didn't finish until now. Enjoy.

Not my usual S.E.X. rundown cuz there was not much development.

AnyWHO, here's my NWA-TNA Results this week (not as exciting as the previous weeks):

*Show starts with Larry Zbyszko with the World Title. Larry Legend said he was impressed with AJ Styles last week in their matchup and his overall skills and will do something nice for him. He demanded that Jarrett gives a title shot to AJ. Jarrett comes out and said that all AJ had to do was ask for a title shot if he steps up and tells him face to face. The Chosen One demands his title back and will use force if he has to. Zbyszko says he is from the School of Hard Knocks and only knows one way and that is the hard way. Jarrett takes off his jacket and runs down to retrieve his title but gets attacked from behind by "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles. Larry Legend tries to restrain AJ and then the Chosen One finds an opening and returns the blows. As Larry tries to stop Jarrett from pummeling the youngster, he gets leveled with a right hand and Jarrett gets his NWA-TNA World Title back.

Out of nowhere swoops in a group of men in camoflauge fatigues and black masks and all attack Jarrett and drag him to the parking lot area. Tenay and West are surprised by this attack and wonder who these masked men are (obviously S.E.X.).

First Match
Jorge Estrada vs. Glen Gilberti (Disco Inferno)

Disco comes down in his camoflauge and mask alongside Mike Sanders in mask and Capo looking jacket. Pretty quick match. High spots are Gilberto giving us a little bit of his WCW Disco dancing and a maneuver he calls, get this... "The Village People's Elbow" (does the Y-M-C-A like every Yankee game and does the double bounce off the ropes and finishes ala Dwayne Johnson) but fails on the attempt. The finish is Glen going for the Chartbuster (the Stunner aka the Whippersnapper) but Estrada blocks it and eventually uses a backslide and gets the 3 count. Postmatch, Sanders and Disco take out Estrada and rip off his Flying Elvis regalia.

**BACKSTAGE: Goldilocks interviews NWA Representative "Bullet" Bob Armstrong about Jarrett's whereabouts and he says that he has someone on it.

*"SEX Sells" graphic appears on the screen and S.E.X. theme plays. The lights go out, shows Disco then Vinny Ru with his military camoflauge and medals as well as F and a U written in green on each of his cheeks on his face. Russo gets on the mic and says that he is declaring war on everyone. He also wants to tell everyone that "Jarrett is in no harm because I love Jeff Jarrett." He changes his tone and tells Glen to "develop the character" of the Chosen One and he specifically wants the new Jarrett cursing, loving the T & A and flushing tradition aka the NWA down the drain. As Glen leaves the ring to do his duty, Dusty Rhodes comes out and hits him with the Bionic Elbow and lays him out. Dusty then gets in the ring and grabs a mic (oh no, another promo, where's the f'n wrestling!).

The American Dream said Bullet Bob called him because of the Jarrett, in his words, "abduction." Rhodes calls out the boys in the back, Amazin Red, America's Most Wanted, Lynn and The Truth to the ring. He gives these wrestlers mad respect and even told The Truth that he is not just "a black man" that won the World Title but a MAN that won the World Title. They all appreciated the kind sentiment. The Dream said he was going to find Jarrett and that he was leaving them to "kiss some ass" tonight.

Second Match: X-Division Title
Sonny Siaki w/Desire vs. Amazing Red

Pretty solid match. Finish goes like this. Desire lowblowed Red on the tope rope trying to attempt the Infared while Siaki has the referee distracted. Amazing Red falls over and Sonny hits the Siakalypse Now (pumphandle into Rikishi Driver) to retain his X-title. Postmatch, Siaki and Desire beat on Red, but Kid Kash and Trinity (kinda like Papi Chulo aka

Lynn may not be in the forefront in concerns with the NWA-TNA World Title picture wth AJ, Raven and Jarrett at the moment but he is still an intrical part of the ongoing S.E.X. vs. tradition angle.

Raven once again takes back the NWA-TNA World Title and as he likes to say possession is 9/10ths of the law.

Well it's good to see Jonah again...but, I know this kid would really rather be in WWE, and going on a rival show and mentioning that he has spent the last few weeks training under Killer Kowalski and "learning some thing I didn't learn on Tough Enough" is not exactly the way to endear himself to the WWE.

I believe it was Nowiski who had trained under Killer before Tough Enough, and the first words out of Al Snow's mouth after hearing that was, "can you forget everything you've learn?" I know getting his face on TV is a big step for Jonah, but I'm not surprised his mouth might have subtly gotten him in trouble as far as working with the WWE in the future.

-Vader who must have gained a lot of weight returned and fought alongside Dusty Rhodes and tradition against everyone's favorite heel faction, S.E.X.!?!

-S.E.X. debuted their newest member called Disgraceland. He is basically the fatter version of Elvis and was the reason why they took Estrada's Flying Elvis costume. Funny part during the match, he ate off a tray of peanut butter and banana sandwiches. He squashed Shark Boy in their match.

-Jonah of Tough Enough 3 made his world wrestling debut against S.E.X.'s own Mike Sanders. Before the match, Sanders called him a loser that came in 3rd place but eventually offered him a spot in S.E.X. and a hot big breasted blonde to boot. He looked happy but said that he wanted to do this on his own. The match gets on as planned. Jonah loses because the hot blond WOWs him and Sanders hits his "3.0" for the victory.

The latest additions to S.E.X. are "The Hot Shots" Cassidy O"Reilly and Chase Stevens who took out S.E.X. and their hated rival's America's Most Wanted. "Sorry about your damn luck", AMW! You guys are marked men.

The Hot Shots are solid tag team competitors that may replace the Harris Brothers in S.E.X. if Heavy D and Big Ron keep slipping. S.E.X. doesn't appreciate losing in the family as we all know.

Vince Russo made the offer to anyone that wanted to join S.E.X. to step up to the plate and "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles of all people verbally agreed to become a member because of Vic Venom's ability to make main eventers. Mark out time!?!

Earlier in the program, Vince Russo's "bestfriend" Jeff Jarrett was suppose to sign a contract at the end of the show and become a full-fledged member of S.E.X. During the program, he was even seen wearing a S.E.X. shirt so it must be a reality right?!?

Wrong... at the end of the program, we have Vince Russo in the center of the ring with a table and a banner that reads "WELCOME HOME." Jarrett's music hits and he appears with his S.E.X. shirt but stands on the rampway. Then plays a video of Russo's two sons complaining about not having a father at home... blah, blah... I think Sanders is a good worker all around. He's no Eddy G, but no one's expecting him to be.

I'm hoping they dump Flair soon, though. I had hopes that he'd eventually turn into SOMETHING, anything, because I'm such a fan of his father and it'd be great if the next generation of Flair could be out there entertaining the masses, but I guess that's just a dream. At least until Reid gets old enough to become a pro, he maybe has some potential with his amateur background.

I have a counter view though: Credibility for a title can also mean that the title is something that people are willing to lie, cheat and steal to have. Russo leaves wrestling and S.E.X. for that matter because he wants to be a "family man"? This is probably just an attempt by Russo to do more of the booking or creative and let the other guys in S.E.X. take the reigns like Sanders and Siaki. Might I add more non-Russo shoots?

S.E.X. added or might I say Glen Gilbertti added some buxon blonde girl named Hollywood wearing a halter top that read, "Got Wood?" Desire did not like this new female into her S.E.X. faction.

This week, S.E.X. in its entirety was in disarray.

The Hot Shots were taken out by the Harris Brothers and thrown out fof the arena.

Sonny Siaki proclaimed by Vince Russo a few weks back as the "Ace in the Hole" was basically bossing around the other S.E.X. members and they did not appreciate it very much especially Mike Sanders who did not want to take his orders cuz he doesn't sign the checks. They even went at it as well as Desire and Hollywood. But Don Harris broke it up and they eventually shook hands. When they tried to force the two S.E.X. ladies to do the same, Desire extended her hand but instead violently Rockbottomed Hollywood onto the canva. Sick sound! Pretty impressive for a some Latina chicada like her.

Thank you. And I think that JJ is a good champion. But his father does own part of the company and that's probably the only reason he's champ. I definitely like NWA though, because now all of the mistakes that the WWE makes, like releasing Raven, will be shoved back into their faces.

I don't think anyone's proclaiming TNA to be the best fed today: they're too new and not as well-organized as they should be if they hope to be considered ''major league.'' However, for those of us looking for an alternative to WWE, it'll do, for now. Hopefully, if they get their act together, they will prove to be a viable competitor with WWE, forcing Vince and co. to improve their product.

By the way, Low-Ki, Kid Kash, and Red are NOT ''never-will-be's,'' any more than Jerry Lynn and Raven are ''has-been's.''

Ok I watched this past week. The Red vs Kid Kash match was excellent. The Jerry Lynn(who I really like) vs a FAT Super Crazy who did a couple of moves was for the most part was so/so (no better than any Jeff hardy match on Raw).

I like Raven, but he needs to update teh gimmick a little bit. Everyone said Rock is stale, how long has raven done the what about raven, what about me deal. And sandman is a walking mess.

Kevin SUllivan sucks. The worst part was the Jeff jarrett deal. Is Erik watts, David Flair and Brian Lawler, the Worst group ever assembled in any wrestling organization. You have your heavyweight champ in Jarrett who is basically a mid carder but I like on the mic and a bunch of never was's, who are only around because of their daddies are legends. Where the fuck was AJ Styles or Low ki.

The x division is great. Lots of good matches. The rest of PPV was shit.

The diference between rock and Ravens gimmick is excution. Raven is intellegent obviosly, and probely is into dark poetry and the like. The reason he has always been like this is that it comes from within him. Raven in a sense is a magnifaction of his dark side. When a wrestler is at his best promo wise,
he takes a piece of himself and uses it as his character.
i.e. Brian Lawler for being angry that he is a talentless moron, or steve austin being a beer drinking redneck because HE IS a beer drinking redneck. In other words, characters work best when they simulate a part of there player.

WEEK TWO OF THE NON-RUSSO S.E.X. Era

S.E.X. was once again in disarray.

-Sonny Siaki and Mike Sanders are still not getting along.

-Glen Gilbertti of all people fused the faction together, restored order if you will, by saying that they are the best and need to bring their A game. He wanted to know if Triple X's hearts are in S.E.X. because they keep going on tours of Japan, etc. "Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels fires back by saying that they were "taking S.E.X. worldwide". Low-ki did not like that comment and said that he would find out where their allegiances lie.

-Desire was absent because of a "family emergency."

-Hacksaw Jim Duggan with his trademark 2x4 was the surprise opponent for Mike Sanders. USA chants were huge throughout the match.

-Triple X defeated AMW to once again win the NWA-TNA Tag Team Titles via running interference. How else would a heel faction work, huh?

-D-Lo Brown better watch out cuz after snubbing membership in S.E.X., he's gonna be a marked man.

-Raven and AJ Styles both won the #1 Contender for the NWA World Heavyweight Title Match (because after the first ref got knocked out, a second ref came out.... Raven simultaneously hits AJ with a chair as Styles nails him with a vicious kick, both go down and both men put a shoulder over the other man, 2 victors?!?)

Jeff Jarrett on the rampway is confused because there was no official announcement on the winner as both competitors arms are raised by the respective referees. Chants of "Triple Threat... Triple Threat" erupt as the show goes off the air.

This was another pretty damn good show. But they need to rethink their strategy a little. It's nice to see some of the old timers, but for God's sake, let them do a hobble/run-in and whack someone who has made fun of them or whatever. But please stop making these guys embarass themselves...it took Hacksaw 15 seconds to run the ropes last night. I don't know if the old timers insist that they wrestle, or TNA does, but stop the insanity.

And they need to take this show on the road. I know it isn't feasible right now with no $ and no regular TV, but they are putting out a pretty good product and the fans won't get up from sitting on their hands for 25 straight seconds. There is never a sustained crowd reaction...even though the Tag Title match, X-Division Title match, Konnan/Jerry Lynn saga, & Raven/Styles match were quality throughout.

Barton's a jobber no more!

I can tell you why he was brought in - he's totaly reinvented his career in Japan.

After the Butterbean fiasco, Barton traveled to Japan, where he's been wrestling for the past few years, primarily for All Japan (although he's not switched to New Japan). He's no Benoit in the ring, but he's got some skills, and he's developed into a pretty decent toughman wrestler. He's had some good matches in Japan, and he's even scored a victory or so over the GOD, Toshiaki Kawada.

I'm happy to see him in NWA, cause I'm a mark for puro. But who knows if he'll stick around, it seems as if there's some high turnover there.

-It looks like Glenn Gilbertti and Mike Sanders are working on the same page again.

-"The Wildcat" Chris Harris is fraternizing with the "enemy" in S.E.X although he says he is "just hanging with the boys". His tag team partner "The Tennessee Cowboy" James Storm doesn't believe him. Is this the end of "America's Most Wanted"?

-David Young is the newest member to join "the good guys" as he fed his friend Athena to the S.E.X. wolves in Desire and Siaki. A solid very underappreciated addition to the faction due to his size and agility as well as a devastating spinebuster.

Now that Vince Russo is back in full effect and Sports-Entertainment Xtreme is in turmoil, I thought it would be important to resurrect this very thread!

-Last night, Russo took out S.E.X.'s own Glenn Gilberti with a brutal baseball bat beating and screwed him from winning the World Title last week. Hmmm... is this something personal? Is it because Glenn took over control of S.E.X. and took it to new heights when "Russo took his ball home"? This seemed to divide S.E.X. What will turn out will all this in-fighting?

-Is Russo still the leader of S.E.X.? And is AJ part of S.E.X.?

-Chris Sabin defeated Shark Boy to retain his X Division Title with his Futureshock. He better get rady to fight Paul London next week. It will be tough but S.E.X. always prevails in the end.

-What is going on with David Young and Desire?

-Why is Sonny Siaki sooo hardcore? Sandman does not stand a chance against the Siakalypse NOW this week! Did you him mock the Sandman with that beer bath? Simply priceless. Also, stop calling him the Rock! He's better than he is at his young age, dammit!

I just got word that Desire (Kim Nielsen) may have severely injured her back at TNA Xplosion against her opponent Mercedes and she maybe out for a few weeks.

She was my favorite TNA Diva and I wish her only the best.
