I know the name, but don't know much about him. I started listening October 2001 so I missed him. Anyone have sound bites or anything. I'm just curious about him.

Dumpy went and joined the navy...the Old Navy. He might be folding sweaters somewhere in Staten Island...

Now, Dumpy was another one of Ron's voices right?

Old producer of the show before Al. Left when a vacation to Australia became some kind of much longer "I'm going to do something else with my life" shtick. Ended up going (back?) to college. Picture Al mixed with Wonderboy, actually having sex with attractive women, not seeming gay, only slightly less creepy, weirder hair, and feet like a dog's ass.

He keeps a wonderful diary filled with bad poems and ellipsis.

find the person you know
with the most annoying
laugh, and have them laugh
at Everything that is said
while you are listening to
rnf. then you will know
dead-air dumpy lapresto.
but at least he knew how to
fight... sort of

I envy you guys...at least I got to listen to a lot of Al. I heard Dumpy used to fall asleep during the show and forgot to push buttons. <P>

He left because he was tired of popping out of cakes at WNEW parties.

We haven't heard a dumpy best of in ages, I get psyched for the Al Best of's now, they are a crack up. I can't believe they are doing so well without him. If you listen to old tapes, Al is gay was the WHOLE SHOW from Febuary until May/June, and it was hilarious ever night.

"Uhhhh, I'm Gay"

"I like a big butt or a penis"

"I'm the gay guyyyyyyy, on Broadwayyyyy"

"I'd bang Jimmy Fallon"

"I'd like a big butt or a penis"

"WHAT MORE DO I HAVE TO SAY? THIS IS NOT A BIT!!"

"I don't give the tongue at work"

Ahhh, those were the days.

Dumpy was replaced by the (at the time) much heralded arrival of the 'fabulous' Al Dukes.

Dumpy was cool, sure. What I really need to know is what's up with Baby Sarah and her puppies. Still out west in college? Still linked to Dumpy? The boys should call her up! Miss them both. Bad career move DP.

Dumpy was the coolest, most inept producer Ron and Fez ever had,but damn he was entertaining. He never welched on a bet...I revert to the mets losing the series to the yanks and him having to shave his head and eyebrows.I miss the chronic masterbater.

I'm Ron and Fez's lovechild.

The better question is how Dumpy ever got to be R&F's producer in the first place? I can understand Dukes, even without any radio ability, he at least had a Masters. Dumpy had neither.

Do they toss out the old tapes? I'd love to hear best of from the old dot.com days, instead of the same things we just heard live a couple weeks ago.

Lulu: not to be a dick, but I doubt he had a show on "collAge" radio...more than likely, it was on college radio. I could be wrong though.

Dumpy was a dead-air gem. I miss that kookanook.

He was on WSIA in Staten Island. I never caught any of his shows on-air. He was also the College of Staten Island's newspaper editor.

See Ya!
