"The Guerreros Mow my Lawn" is sick enough as it is, but it disgusts me that when Eddie and Chavo come out the camera men have the balls to zoom in on the sign and show the proud owner of it. Like it's the best sign in the crowd.

Maybe some of the signs get missed, but when you see them zoomed in on T.V. you know something is wrong.

Hippie, my problem with those Eddie / Chavo signs is not so much that someone makes them (although it is prejudice), or brings them to the show (after all, the WWE has Eddie turn up the Spanglish to a RIDICULOUS level), but that the WWE ZOOMS IN on them. Knicks has roughly the same view. You could argue, yeah, it's fun to be politically incorrect, but should the WWE really condone the signs by zooming in on them? You want to let them bring the signs there, fine, you don't have to make them obvious though.

I agree completely. I thought RAW was pretty good last night, getting things started with Jeff Hardy/RVD (why are these two so low on the card?) and some other good bits. It dragged on in the Booker T/Goldust-3 Minute Warning Match. Only one I can stomach out of that match is Rico... And the DLo angle is God awful. I never liked him, probably never will. And that the WWE makes Tommy Dreamer job to everyone, especially in the Singapore Cane match, makes me sick. <P>

Wrestling is almost all about one stereotype or another. Extreme character types are what wrestlers are all about. Stone Cold is a rednbeck stereotype, The Undertaker is a biker stereotype, RVD is a stoner sterotype that's just the way that it is. Also the racism isn't as bad as it used to be. Remember Jesse the Body Ventura's announcing days? Remember "Chico" Santana? And Koko B. Ware? Jesse said the B stands for "Buckwheat" and would continually call him that.
