i agree, there's a quality to the show that no other show can touch. their comedy is unlike anything else out there. and they're truly original.

god bless ron and fez....your mom's box!

Great guys, great show.

I hope I can meet them down here someday just to say hello and to thank them for all of the hours of entertainment they give us each week.

Everything sounded so final tonight at the end of the show. But everything they said was very nice. They better be back in 2003 or else...

Well, now that someone else admitted it, I don't feel quite so soft for saying so, I really got a little knot in my throat when Fez started thanking Ronnie & the fans. These are two great people, and my Christmas wish is that I'll turn on WNEW after January 1st and still be able to hear my two buddays...and hopefully two more!

...silent, but violent.

A certain radio message board moderator likes to say that R&F don't appeal outside a narrow audience. He forgets to account how much that audience loves Ron and Fez. And the end of tonight's broadcast certainly showed how much Ron and Fez loves their audience in return.

If this is the last I ever get to hear of the boys live in NYC, the run couldn't have ended more wonderfully.

In all my years I've never been touched by any show. Ron and Fez are two amazing people and I know they will be back in 2003. Happy Holidays all.

It's the only Radio Show I've ever felt the need to FIGHT for.

I'm happy I got to call in, wish them, the staff and the in studio guests a happy, healthy holiday.

And I got to thank them for another year of solid comedy.

This is truly the BEST show, and I know that when I'm an old man, I'll be telling tales of a great radio show that stood out among SO MANY forms of entertainment. There was this Guy named Ron and another guy named Fez. They cracked the mics in NYC everynight, an with little more than thier wit and a staff of able bodies, sometimes manic people, entertained us all night. They didn't have a huge special effects budget. They didn't have HUGE stars in constantly. They were just that fucking funny. And through the good times and the bad at the station, they remained professional and NEVER slipped. They pulled double shifts to pick up some slack in fact.

I don't know where the story ends yet, but I'm proud to be part of it.

I agree with everything i've read so far.I also felt a little chocked up when they were thanking each other and the fan's.What stands out most about R&F to me is,they show a lot of class the way they go about their show. They are never really mean to people, even during a bit you can tell where they are coming from,It's all from the heart &their love of what they do,which is to make people laugh! You can tell they really love what they do, and how they feel for each other and the fans is awesome, Iv'e certainly never felt this connected to a radio show or all the people that call in and hang out at the studio. Even though I don't know any of you folks,I am always happy between 10-2 & 7-11. Thanks everyone and thanks R&F a real class act, THE BEST THING GOING. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE,I'll be listening in 2003!!!

Between last nights show, hanging out at Bar 9, and these posts...I am officially misty over these boys! I have only been a listener since last June, but they are the only radio program that I have ever been completely faithful to.

From the way they handle their show, to the way they treat their public/buddhays/etc..., they are indeed Bar None - the Classiest Act in Radio.

I look forward to 2003 and with a lot of letters and prayers...I hope they will be back on 102.7 in January! Until then...I shall miss their antics! :)

MMmmmnn don't believe there is too much truth in that statement.

You only have to read the board postings or listen to the callers to realise what a smart, funny, intelligent bunch listen to the show. (Present company excepted!)

I would say that there is. perhaps, the broadest spectrum of ages, ethnicity, education and vocation represented here.

Why didn't they replay last night's show this morning? Instead of hearing the last live show of the year we get a Best Of????????
