Subdivision is the name of the song. And, while this might not be her best work, Ani Difranco is really a talented artist. But I'm not sure anybody really cares about all that.

Ari Defranco is the lead singer of a new Jewish/Italian cover band who's biggest hit is "Heartbeat, It's a Love Beat."

The song title is called: Subdivision. My friend caitlin heard ron and fez when visiting me from boston and decided to send me the mp3 for the song. That's the only reason I know that fact. I SWEAR:)! Plus it was in the news.

the reason they felt betrayed is more because she preaches a type of Feminist Socialism, which believes that in a patriarchal dominated society, women will never have equal rights. marriage is part of ways that the patriarchy keeps women under control, by forcing love to be legalized by the state. it is possible to have a loving relationship without marriage, but the fact that she went ahead and got married pissed alot of people off.
