Has anyone else heard this album yet. The GZA is easily one of the top 5 lyricists in the rap game especially when he is in a group that i consider in the top five also: RZA and Inspektah Deck.
But anyway the album is outstanding especially the track FAME where basically he uses famous peoples name to make the song
Not to mention the great producing because i dont think anyone uses the piano and violin in their music then the members of the Wu do

Damn fine album. Not nearly as good as the first "Liquid Swords", but it at least makes up for the abomination that was his second album. And while I think RZA is one the best producers in the game, do you really think he's that special lyrically? That "Bobby Digital" album was a joke. Good call on Deck, though. Too bad his solo album didn't really live up to what I expected, but he's still been great on the last two Wu albums.

The greatest Wu MC, however, is Ghostface Killa, hands down. The man's a maniac.

The first Bobby Digital Album was great the second was not as good as i would have liked. But your opionion is similar to my friends in that either they love the first bobby digital album or they hat it. Plus if you check out RZA's lyrics on the first Gravediggaz album you would see how good lyrically he is. And i think you are right about ghost, as a matter of fact other then U-God who i cant stand there isnt a week member of the Wu lyrically
Oh yeah for the record this is actually the 4th Gza album--he put out one in the early nineties that was supposed to be like all the other early 90's love song rap crap that was out. And his liquid sword album was really his second
btw Rza also put out an album like Gza's first one under the name prince rakeem--if you can download the song ooh we love you Rakeem---its f'n hilarious

I thought this was a thread about the Gordon Liu movie.

Damn good album. Gza is probably the best member in the Wu. His beats are on point and his lyrics are sharp.....Anyone heard God's Son

Yeah, but he was "The Genius" back then. Best forgotten, Like Prince Rakeem...

I didnt see him live recently but i did see the whole Wu when they were doing the tour w/ Rage against the machine. and actually the show i went to was the last one they did because of the fight between members of the Wu and some roadies that were with Rage.
