I was just watching a special on horror movie directors...and thats made me think of what my favorite horror movie of all time would be. Thats a really hard question...but i think it would be Evil Dead, funny and scary. Thats a great combo.

Actually, Evil Dead 2 was better with the comedy. I will take that as my favorite, although there are so many good choices out there.

Stacy the best zombie japanese schoolgirl movie ever. The premice, a desease overruns the earth casing the death and susequent reanimation of 16 year old japanes school girls. Who then, as zombies will often do, go about eating humans. This movie bears greatness akin to Toxic Avenger, Class of Nukem High, and Killer Clowns from outer space. A definate must see.

I don't dig horror movies. A good movie can make me feel almost ANY emotion... except fear. I don't know why. I just don't connect with 'em.

Although, my dad took me to see THE AMITYVILLE HORROR when I was, like, 8 years old. A few minutes before it ended, he leaned over to me and my brother and whispered; "ya know... this is a true story... the whole thing happened about 5 miles from here."

Then he drove us past the house.
I guess THAT was kinda scary.

Even WITH the crappy video quality, and even though this scene is shown out-of-context, I still think it's very effective.

Whenever I think of "scary movies" this is the only scene that ever came close. It's really well done.

original TCM was great do to the way it was filmed, it added a realistic feel to it. Hence the creep factor
