Al Dukes on the Dump Button?

Why does Ron keep saying Al Dukes is on the dump button? I know he is joking but if he is not it would seem like such a waste not to put him back on the air. I would do anything to hear some more of his awful slam poetry.

Also if you listen carefully to one of the show intros, the Kenny Allen one, Ron says something after Kenny says "I'm the one who says things". What is Ron saying and is it just a part of the tape?

As far as the sound you hear after the Kenny Allen line, I believe you are referring to Kenny snuffing his snots because he has a runny nose. <P>

My bad I should have put probably joking in there. I thought the big ass night of fights was set up because Al was going to be leaving Wnew anyway. I thought they were just taking advantage of a situation. I had no Idea he was still at the station.

The fabulous Albert Dukes was beat in a fight with Rory during Big ASS night of fights 3. There was a deal between Al and Rory that the loser of the fight would no longer appear on the Ron and Fez show, therefore, Al no longer appears on the Ron and Fez show. Seeing as how Al needed a job he started to work the dump button. End of story.

The last time Al called in was on 10/23/02 the Midday show. He called from the Dump Room after Ron and Fez played all the Al drops. This is also the first day of the Ron and Fez synidication to Washington, remember that they did two shows that day Midday and night.
