I was talking with Black Earl Tuesday night and he said they would be definitely be back, he couldn't say for how long.

I still feel nervous about the situation, let's keep up with the letter campaign.

i think they'll be back. the task for us listeners will be to help keep them on the air.

i try to do whatever i can to get the word out, and have sent countless letters to the station as well. i'm hopeful that all of this and the rest of the listeners work, helps to keep them on the air.

Well really, it's been scary for awhile. They haven't known what's what for months now.

I agree with a LONG vacation it makes it scarier, but as far as THEY know they'll be back. So let's just stay positive.

I'm SURE that they'll let us know as soon as they know for sure. I mean, if most of us have to start looking for an undergrond internet feed, I think they'd like to give us as much notice as possible.

I agree that this vacation, while well deserved & expected, is going to be tough to wait through. The amount of time that they'll be in "Best of" mode is like a prolonged anxiety attack leading up to 7pm on Jan 6th. But I'll have faith, and keep sending letters, postcards, cards, etc.

Well, this morning Richard Neer and Harris Allen subtley confirmed there will be a format change after the first of the year. They were having a mock argument about playing a Paul McCartney song and Neer said that he 'would not be doing this show with Allen after the first of the year.' Allen replied: 'I can guarantee that I won't be doing this show with you after the new year.' Those were almost their exact words, which pretty much insures the format will change after the holidays. The question is, will Ron and Fez still have a place within the new format? We'll have to wait and see. Just because they said they're going to be back on the 6th doesn't mean a thing. They are obviously going to be back in D.C. So they weren't lying when they said that. KEEP THOSE LETTERS GOING OUT!!! <P>
