Crash=I didn't see it. Bought it on faith. I was wrong. I'm pretty good at guessing when I'm gonna like a movie. It even got pretty good reviews. I like weird sick violent movies with sex. It sucked.

Y Tu Mama Tambien=Overrated. I think critics give extra props to foreign films, kind of like affirmative action. Sex. Youths jerking off. Sex. Subtitles. Drugs. It sucked too.

The Last Waltz=needed it. Wanted it. Seen it. Many Times. Love it. Along with the new Monterrey Pop, Cocksucker Blues, Woodstock, and Gimme Shelter Criterion, this completes my Holy Pentity of rock DVDs. I don't think pentity is a word.

Bladerunner Director's Cut. Just a converstion from VHS to DVD. Pretty unremarkable in that it has no extras to speak of and deserves a better edition. And I hate the type of DVD that comes in the cardboard flip box as opposed to the full plastic kind. Warner's needs to convert to the good kind of DVD boxes.

North By Northwest, The Seven Samurai (Criterion) and The Third Man- just because they are great movies. Will watch them again soon.

The Searchers - Completes my essential DVD Western collection along with Wild Bunch, Good Bad and the Ugly, and Rio Bravo for now at least.

This is Spinal Tap. Another movie that I just needed on DVD and aside from the movie the extras are great.

This DSM talk, are we among another HKing? And the fifth is long overdue. Perhaps the DSM-IV revision thirty will be out first.
As for dvd addiction, I'm up to 150 plus, with most being toons (DBZ, Transformers, South Park, and other anime) and comedy (Sandler, Brooks, and other classics). I did however have a dvd player for over a year. You need help or a rich wife my friend.

I don't think it sucked, in fact I have a thread posted about it. But, I wouldn't want to go out and buy the DVD unless someone bought for me.
