Some of you on RF.net must know Rory, Earl, or whoever's on the board running the tapes. It was nice to have the whole Lobsterclaws show the first night, but after last night I'm concerned that we're going back to those recent Sarah Jessica and Heather Mills pyramids over and over again.

Also, Joe Poe was on the beginning of last night's replay. What happened to him? He's much more talented than most of the RnF hangers-on.

Joe Poo is on an extended vacation since shortly after Big Ass Night of Fights 1.

I want to hear some of the shows when Iris calls in - especially the Rutger Hauer interview.

See ya!

i miss the "dot com" days

Listening to the dot com replays, many of which I heard in their original broadcast, made me realize one thing. The show is as good as it ever has been.

Oh, I agree Tim. I don't think the show has lost any of it's luster. The dot com days were different, not necessarily better.

The dot com days were different, not necessarily better.

One thing was for sure, the callers were a lot nuttier. WNEW really needs a local, NYC overnight call-in show. Are there any non-sports live overnote call-in shows anymore in New York? I know WABC has Art Bell, but that's national. The WABC overnight shows from the early 90s were hysterical. There are a lot of lunatics in this area who are up at night, listening to the radio and looking for someone to talk.

Go Peacocks!

I'd like to hear a replay of the 71 Ds girl interview. Also, since we are on a 'best of' series, why not play a different show morning and night? All Ron and Fez, all the time. Delicious!

I was led to the altar of the Church of Ron and Fez about a year ago. So I would love hearing shows before that. I would love to hear complete Al Dukes shows...embellish the Al soundboard....you never can get enough Al.

I have to say that I am digging the dotcom days replays...they do rock. I know it sounds silly, but I miss Dumpy's stupid ass laugh at every little joke that Ron and Fez make

You can find that clip right here on this site in the file library. It's under Audio Clips -- Iris, Andre & Kenny Allen with Dr. Kim.

I want to hear the show after they interviewed the Dude himself, Jeff Bridges. It was a dotcom show.

That show is the show I started listening hardcore. They did the Ron's got a new best friend bit (Jeff Bridges) and it got me hooked.

damn its been so long since the dot com days, but i remember the guy who used to wake up his wife with some loud noise. it would be like 3 am or something and all the nuts were out.

The "daily promos" really helped generate a buzz when the boys were on overnights, ditto,"tomorrow on a very special..."(till Howard took it).

Even if the dot-com days weren't great (which they are!), I would still rather hear them than hear something that I just heard three weeks ago!

I'd just like some generic Dukes talk from Feburary-June 2002. He was absolutely precious.

And I'd really love to hear either 9/11 show, but I think that might be more of Syndication Underground situation, if that really existed.

I would love to hear the time when that little boy called in and Ronnie kept making him repeat all this stuff back to his dad or something. The words were getting more and more difficult for the little to repeat...that was a pisser.
