We've had this thread before but the best submissions are The Crossface and the Tazzmission.

The nuclear fission submission is hard to beat.

But my all-time favorite is the "I bet now you're wishin' you didn't interfere with my mission cause now I be dishin' the nuclear fission transmission on your ugly disposition so make your decision get rid of your munition or you'll be sleepin' with the fishin' submission."

I agree with "Knicks", my two favorites for a while have been the Crippler Crossface & the Kata-Hajime.

But you have to give repsect to the Sharpshooter...not the awful insult that the Rock uses on occassion, but the original.

One I'll never buy as a closer, though, is Lance Storm's single-leg crab...I like the rest of his ringwork, but his submission finisher just isn't believable.

...silent, but violent.

Flair's Figure Four

Chris Jericho's "Liontamer" (NOT the Walls of Jericho)

Crippler Crossface

Masahiro Chono's STF

Yuji Nagata's "Nagata Lock 2"

And maybe my favorite....Toshiaki Kawada's Stretch Plum (you like the Dragon Sleeper? You'll like the Stretch Plum!)

The Nagata lock for sure. It's cool when Yuji gives a salute before applying the pressure.

I've also enjoyed how Kanemoto has ended his title defenses with his ankle lock. He often spends the bulk of a match working on an opponent's ankle, making the move believable.

In America, I liked Dean Malenko's arm bar/leg bar combo that he used in the 92 Clash of the Champions NWA Tag Tourney and a couple of times since.

In ECW, Taz's judo choke hold was really cool because everyone would sell it to death and there was no escape. The move was quickly decredited when he joined WWE.

And finally: Ricky Steamboats' double arm chicken wing!
