There is enough footage to have a 24 hour wrestling channel. with the purpose of WCW, vince has countless hours of footage from WCW the old NWA and all of its territories i.e. Georgia Championship Wrestling. Not to mention old AWA and world class mtches as well. There were some classic matches back in the day

Right now though, with the business as "soft" as it is, it'd be too much of a gamble for Vince to start such a channel any time soon.

I think you have been misinformed sir. When NWA turned into WCW that was the end of the NWA. Thus the reason all of the other incarnations of NWA have sub titles. NWA-TNA, NWA Wildside. These are not the same as the original NWA. So Vince doesnt own this footage. Also AWA and World Class Wrestling don't have anything to do with WCW or NWA.

Infact, Vince does own all of the vintage NWA and WCW stuff and is probably still trying to purchase the rights to all of ECW footage from backruptcy court.

I'm drooling thinking about the idea. It'd have to be a channel you pay for and i think $35.95 a month would be a fantastic price. The catch would be you get every pay-per-view included with your channel. So PPV's will be guaranteed to be bought.
