Best Match of 2002

Being that Raw tommorow will feature what they thought were the "best matches" of 2002, What do you think is really the best match of the year?

Personally I think its the Smackdown Ladder match between Eddy Guererro and Edge

What do I have to say? This is not a bit!

The best match of the year was no doubt in my mind the Hardcore/Intercontinental Unification match between RVD and Tommy Dreamer. It was the last match for the Hardcore Title and those guys made it count with a classic ECW style Hardcore Match.

I'm sure someone else's response will spark my memory for another match. Off the top of my head, though, I would say the RVD vs. Taker on the April 8th Raw. Taker took all RVD's highspots, and a few black-n-blues to go with them. RVD was absolutely brutalized by Taker, and took one of the best Last Rides I've ever seen. But, then again, I'm just a great big mark.

I personally thought the best WWE match of the year was Benoit / Angle vs. Edge / Rey Rey from No Mercy.

That made it onto the broadcast tonight. Personally, I actually liked RVD's ladder match with Eddy (the one with the fan run-in) better.

edge/angle at backlash or Brock vs. Rock at Summerslam

after watching last night my favorite match of the year was the Rock/Hogan. not for the action in the match, but for how they got the fans so into the match. when he kicked out of the Rock Bottom the first time and started doing all the classic Hulk Hogan things the crowd was going nuts.
