Well I guess it leaves me to fullfill this thread for what it should've started out as:

I am finished with the magnificent masterpeice as we know by "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City". I was and still am caught up in the buetiful surroundings from Cherry Popper's Ice Cream Factory to The Pole Position club. But once I settled down and bought my plan ticket back to up north, and also twenty years ahead I need to realize was it better than GTA3?

Graphics: 8/10

The overall scenery was magnificent as well as the improvment on what we thougt were wonderful un-improvable car graphics. But here comes the downside, during gameplay the percist graphics are hard to notice, but when you see Sonny Forelli talking works with a shut mouth, and big claws for hands you will realize what the hell did they do? Did they just forget about those parts? Anyways not much to complain about.

Sound: 20/10

ABSOLUTLEY PERFECT: Michael Jackson's Billie Jeans is spread to ears all over the tri-state area of Vice City. Over 9,000 CHARACTER DIOLOUGES! 9,000! 9 hours of hip hop and break dancin' beats to the coziest love songs from the 80's blasting over the radio waves the entire time. If you dont want to play the game, sit back and just let the music captivate you.

Gameplay: 9/10

Everything you wanted to change from GTA3 DID! So dont' worry abut it. More in store missions, jumping out of cars, shootng out tires, everything you loved about GTA3 and more!

Plot: 9/10

Im still undecided about this, so I wont give me full outcome. The overall story is great. It ties in with GTA3 perfect and still leaves in some mafia style. It would be a perfect 10 except...I dont like the side-missions being so excluded from the main story. And they set thegame up so you have to do all the side missions before you do the last two main missions. It kinda slowly dissolves the tension between you and Sonny Forelli while doing missions that consist of taking Jenna Jameson to shoot a porno, or knocking out some Cubans for Miss Cleo.

OVERALL A BEST-SELLING, FANTASTIC, MAGNIFICENT, GENUIS, 2ND SAGA WORK OF VIDEO GAMING ART AS WE KNOW IT!

great game?.......what you guy talkin about, gta3 was ways better...this game was really disapointed......the worst part about this game was that the mission were near impossible to beat..well near the ending mission .

This game does rule. Rockstar could have just made a rehash of GTA3 with very little in the way of improvement. They took the best of the last game & jacked it up about 2 more levels. The graphics, the way the vehicles handle when you drive just a bit better than last time. And how can anyone resist the radio stations pumping out all the 80's tunes. Vice City ROCKS ! <P>

AAAAARRRRGGGGGHHHH!!!! I hit a MAJOR bug in the game the other night. I was really far in the game (doing the print works), and saved in the cherry poppers after doing the rampage above it. Well, now, my fucking game won't load. I emailed their support and the guy tried to say it was my fault for using cheat codes. (didn't use them) Now I'm fucking pissed that I have to start my whole game over.

I have saved in there several times without problems.

I know you said you didnt use them but just a tip, if you do use codes you can never get 100%

Felix, I had saved there too. It's not an every time kinda thing. But it really sucks to be so close to the end and lose it.


Which is the "driver" mission? Do you mean the one in Love Fist's limo?

has anyone else had problems with it? in mind it wound up saying "Error Reading Disc" or something. there wasnt really any scratches on it or anything but i wound up taking it back anyway (had he receipt) and got a new one, the guy said that it probably isnt the game its the system, he said there is some defect with the system that makes it do that with some games, and that alot of people have been bringing back Vice City saying it was doing the same thing. i guess i gotta call Sony or something

My Vice City has frozen plenty of times but just froze, no message. On the other hand I DID get that message with any blue sided discs I've played with (NHL something, and my first Virtua Fighter 4, which I later returned) I think the Vice City errors are the game, I've talked to many people and they all had a freeze one point or another in the game. Rockstar should've delayed until Nov. or so and fixed all the bugs.

I'm sad to say I never finished my Vice City, for one reason-THE GODAMN BUGS!!!

I've tried playing it on 3 diferent systems, 2 diffent memory cards, and 4 different games and I can't stop the freezing. Rockstar should be ashamed to put out a game with so much bugs. My game frooze so much that I had to stop playing.

Game companies shouldn't feel obliged to get a game out by a certain date just to get it ready for the holiday season. A month or two delay wouldn't of made a difference in X-mas sales.

Hell yeah, lots of points in that game got me pissed, but that don't make me hate the game and say its sucks.

I have had some freezes too, but luckily never lost any save info. Rockstar did delay the game release by close to a month (which killed me)Now that I hear so many problems I guess they and me could have waited for a better bugless game.

I just got and it must say I love it! I'm at the part were you have to contol that little helicopter, that's giving me some trouble.

The music is great and so far the dirt bike is the best!
