when your excitement level is equal for no mercy and wrestlemania,there is a problem.the wwe needs to drop at least half of their yearly ppv's to gain back some excitement and meaning.back in the 80's you waited for events like wrestlemania and the royal rumble all year.it also leads to the title problem.back in the 80's title runs were longer and meant a little more.

1 Royal Rumble
2 Wrestlemania
3 Summerslam
4 Survivor Series

Keep those five, throw in one more of your choice, and make it a nice round six. One every other month, just like ECW at its' peak. By the time the PPV came around, you couldn't wait to see it. And that's even when there was barely any talent around to fill the show.

With the amount of talent on the current WWE roster, six PPV's and ONE ROSTER would make for some great entertainment.

I hate rushed angle into PPVs! I wuld prefer a well-played game of chess leading to a ppv than a thrown together match on the WWE RAW or WWE SMACKDOWN! before the big event.

that would be cool but it wouldn't work because the WWE needs money, they are in financial trouble and needs as much money as they can get.

also, did anyone here a rumor that the WWE might do 17 ppvs a year?
the big 5 will be split (like it is now) and Raw and Smackdown will have 6 ppvs each

I'd be fine with 6 pay per views a year. That'd give them 2 months to work up a decent storyline.
