Besides here, where do you look for relationship advice?

I'm curious.... besides the Library at Alexandria that is this forum, where else do people get their relationship advice from?

I avoid getting it from married people over 40, because I believe dating now is different than it was then.

I actually listen to the people around me that have the most successful relationships - my brother, who has had a 12 year relationship with his wife (including dating and married time), my best friend, who has had a 6 year realtionship with his girlfriend...

I don't read books. I prefer real world experience rather than what these so-called "experts" have to say.

Plus, I learn from my mistakes in my own relationships. I'm the terminator with the learning CPU turned "on".

YOUR BRAIN- reliable
because u know what is going
to happen, based on all your
learning etc... easily over
taken by the other two.
YOUR HEART- unreliable as
far as reality goes, but is
usually the first way you can
judge someone. this one can
get you in a lot of trouble
b/c want you want isn't what
you always need.
YOUR DICK- the most
troublesome of the 3 devices.
this little bastard does what
it wants and in most cases
over rides the other two 100%.
when it gives up control to
your heart you're in love

so shut up and make ur own
decisions. as much as i post
here, and most people 99% of
our lives are kept to
ourselves. because they are
just that: OURS.

when people go looking for
relationship advice, they are

wrong decision, that person
can be blamed.

I truly believe that most people know deep down what they have to do in their relationships and realize if their relationship is a mistake, but essentially look for coaxing from others (usually gotten from friends).
