The whole way home tonight, both the weather guy and the traffic guy on 1010wins are warning me about black guys, saying theyre veeeery dangerous, and i better watch out for black guys. What gives?

Hmmmm. I was also worried.

On the Weather Channel the other day, they were talking about naming typhoons after black people like they name hurricanes after people. Jesse Jackson had threatened a protest, saying the vast majority of weather related phenomena are named using White Anglo-Saxon Protestant names. The International Association of Meteorologists (IAM) caved in to pressure and issued a press release noting the next one is to be called Typhoon Tyrone.

Currently Hurricane Shanequa is projected to hit over Newark by Saturday.

Additional suggestions for more politically correct and racially sensitive weather terms include: "Dreaming of a Black Christmas", referring to the wind chill factor as just the "Cool Chillin' Factor", the Relative Humidity Index as the "Hot Like a Motherfucker" index, hail the size of golf balls as "hail the size of 8-balls", and other disasters such as floods and earthquakes will now contain a "Riot Factor."

Also, the UV Suntan index will be eliminated.
