OK ..HI ...i don't think i have ever made a thread in this forum...but here it goes....

My ovaries REALLY hurt when its "that time" and i dunno what to do? advil doesnt help me

Ps. im embarassed for asking this?

have you tried motrin? i believe its stronger than advil. but if that doesn't work you should see your doctor or the gynecologist i'm sure its just cramps, but its always better to check.

and don't be embarrassed its all part of becoming a woman. ::sniff:: my little fiesty is all grown up. :)

the sad thing is...IM 21! i hate girlie problems & its so uncomfortable to talk about YET i post so 1000's can see and read and be little- thanx LULU but motrin is like CANDY to me- hehe

If this is an ongoing problem I would DEFINITEY go to to the gynocologist. Get your checkup, have him or her feel around to make sure you don't have any wierd things going on in there. Describe what the pain feels like and exactly what time of the month it occurs.
If there's nothing out of the ordinary and the doc says to stick with the OTC remedies; exercise and stretching helps, as well.

Ginny is absolutely correct. You need to go to your gynocologist. There are potentially serious problems that could cause your symptoms and although we hope everything is OK, it must be checked out.

Feisty - Menstruation is a normal biological function and certainly nothing to be embarrased about. It's part of life. (And we all know that if men menstruated, we'd get 5 days a month off w/o questions asked).
