I was in GNC today and the saleslady couldn't rave enough about this thing called Mega Whey. I've been dieting and working out and I was looking to see if there is anything else I could use to help out. Does this stuff add any benefit as they claim?

I'm very sceptical about these claims.

I'm pretty skeptical about most supplements sold at GNC or some health food stores, especially if it comes to weight loss.
I sheepishly admit I pop L-lysine daily. It really does seem to lessen the frequency and the severity of my cold sores.

whey = dairy protein. a very good source of protein (probably the best, although i prefer soy because of its heart benefits and its reduced environmental impact)
